On November 11 and 12, 2023, Malaysia Bodhi Meditation successfully held the two-day “Golden Harvest Carnival” at MAEPS Serdang, attracting nearly 20,000 participants.
The “Golden Harvest” represents a season of happiness and prosperity, a time for people to celebrate the harvest and reunion with families. Most grateful to the guidance of Grandmaster JinBodhi, the founder of Bodhi Meditation, to set up the Carnival in a relaxing, joyful, and interesting atmosphere, to connect with the public.
The splendid performance of the lion dance and 24-drums unveiled the two-day event, followed by the launch of fireworks by the core members of Bodhi Meditation Malaysia Service Center, along with special guests, sponsors, and cooperative units, officially inaugurating the ‘Golden Harvest Carnival!”
The premier “Insight and Mission” Immersive Art Gallery was overwhelmed by the public, showcasing the essence artwork of Grandmaster JinBodhi. The vivid and lively images immersed the audience into the Zen-like state of the paintings, as if they were physically present in the scene. The moving narration inspired people’s awakening to the meaning and mission of life, prompting deep reflection.
Over 150 booths were set available at the event, including the “Zen Space” and “Goddess Street”, a mesmerizing experience for guests to enjoy “Eat, Shop, Play”. Among them, “JinBodhi Wellness” was overwhelmed by patrons, introducing Grandmaster JinBodhi’s health and secret recipes, for health and wellness.
In addition, the guests were also entertained and amused by the various stage performances, such as Chinese musical, Sichuan face-changing, acrobatics and singing performances.
On November 12th, coinciding with the birthday of the Medicine Buddha, the second event hall featured three enormous statues of the Medicine Buddha, Sunlight and Moonlight Bodhisattva, along with four 6-meter-height ancient Thangkas. The guests worshipped the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas respectfully, and offered incense and flowers in front of the Buddha, receiving the compassionate blessings and protection.
The Bodhi Meditation Charity Foundation of Malaysia, adhering to Grandmaster JinBodhi’s charitable aspiration to help the needy students, and meantime enhancing the educational equipment to elevate the learning efficiency. On November 12th, the Charity Foundation held a simple yet meaningful ceremony to “Donate Smart Classroom Equipment – Handover of Mock Cheque”. The beneficiary schools were Kuala Lumpur’s primary schools, namely SJKC Jinjang Utara and SJKC Jinjang Tengah 1, receiving the donations of RM40,000 and RM160,000 respectively.
Subsequently the students were overjoyed with the surprised gifts. The schools expressed their utmost gratitude to Grandmaster JinBodhi for his compassions and benevolent move.
The much-anticipated lucky draw seized the attention of all, the “Special Prize”, a brand new Perodua MyVi, was won by Mdm. Leong Yok Ching, thrilled with joy and excitement.
The 2023 “Golden Harvest Carnival” concluded auspiciously and successfully, leaving guests with unforgettable experience and cherished memories. Bodhi Meditation wishes everyone health, peace, wisdom, and happiness! Looking forward to the next activity and seeing everyone again.
