
On the 15th day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar, the “Ullambana Festival,” Bodhi Meditation Centers across Malaysia held a grand “Ullambana Blessing Ceremony,” attracting over 7,500 practitioners and guests. Together, they prayed for blessings and the transcendence of deceased loved ones and ancestors of past generations.

During the ceremony, every guest sincerely prayed for the compassionate blessings of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva. They chanted the Heart Mantra and made offerings, wishing for the deceased to be guided by the Buddhas to the Pure Land. The guests also received blessings of Buddha’s light, seeking protection from misfortunes and relief from hardships.



The ceremony has various activities, including chanting, copying the Heart Mantra of Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva, and folding lotus offerings. The altars dedicated to memorial tablets were solemn and dignified. Additionally, there were energy healings and auspicious empowerment to bring guests replenished energy and auspicious blessings.




At the conclusion of the ceremony, each guest received a blessed item, taking home the auspicious blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Ceremonies in various centers were conducted with solemnity and grace, successfully bringing happiness and good fortune to all.
